The coastline is dotted with a crown of beaches and inlets surrounding the Capo Carbonara promontory. Driving along the scenic route from Capo Boi, the southernmost tip of the Marine Protected Area, you’ll come across stunning beaches like Porto Sa Ruxi, Campus, and Campulongu — all offering turquoise waters and soft white sand framed by Mediterranean scrub. Just outside the town lies the distinctive Spiaggia del Riso, named for its grains of sand that resemble grains of rice.
