Upon your arrival, geo-marine environmental guides exclusive to the Park will guide you to discover the most important historical and naturalistic places on the island of Asinara, such as Punta Salippi, Cala Sant’Andrea, the Austro Hungarian Ossuary of Asinara, and Cala d’Oliva, including a visit to the Observatory of Memory (formerly a prison structure called “Centrale”) which used to house prisoners and now serves as a museum aimed at restoring dignity to the lives of former inmates and showcasing their work for Asinara.
You will also have the opportunity to discover the characteristic white donkeys and the splendid horses that roam the island freely, reminiscent of the Sardinian Anglo-Arab breed.You will explore the surroundings of the island, including the beautiful Cala Reale and the Marine Turtle Recovery Center CRAMA (Ticket price 3€ p.p.), before concluding this incredible excursion at Cala Sabina, the most beautiful beach among those suitable for swimming within the Park.
