Trekking at Cala Luna in the Orosei Gulf
Orosei
8h - 08.30
Tue - Wed - Sat
from €50
Experience Overview
Start from the Buchiarta area with a visit to the ancient sheepfolds typical of the Supramonte. Among stony ground and ancient mule tracks, we arrive at the gully of Su Molente, a path where you can observe the enormous centuries-old junipers and the numerous Mediterranean scrub shrubs, including the many aromatic plants whose medicinal and herbal uses we will discover together.
Having reached the majestic Canyon of Codula di Luna, the trek to Cala Luna continues on the arid river bed, among granite boulders and oleanders which, with their marvelous spring flowering, color the path towards the beach pink.
Once in Cala Luna, how can you not take a dip in the crystalline waters of the Gulf of Orosei? A stop in one of the characteristic karst caves along the beach cannot be missed.
We rest, enjoy the show and after lunch we retrace the canyon to face the most demanding route of the day, the ascent to the starting point from the gorge called S’Iscala ‘e S’Arga.
